Abstract:
This feature class displays all of the open water body lakes in Washtenaw County. It has been developed to meet the needs of mapping and analysis by Washtenaw County employees and citizens. This data was obtained from the State of Michigan CGI, and then spatially corrected using Washtenaw County's aerial photography (accurate to within 2 ft). The data supports a definition query which can be used to uniquely display lakes in a defined area of interest.
To display the Geographic Position, Lake Name, Area, and Local Unit of Government for all portions of open water bodys in Washtenaw County.
